Vertex Aerospace Continues to Grow Air Force Business

Vertex Aerospace LLC, a mid-level aerospace leader, is committed to growing the company’s Air Force business. Due to multiple Air Force contract awards, Vertex is expanding its corporate presence in Oklahoma City near operational sites at Tinker Air Force Base and Vance Air Force Base.

Vertex is pleased to welcome Chip Hill as the new vice president of Business Development for the Company’s USAF programs. He is based out of our Oklahoma City office to focus on company business objectives, provide customer liaison and develop new business opportunities with the Air Force. Recent Air Force contract wins include a prime seat on the Aircraft Maintenance Enterprise Solutions (ACES) contract vehicle of the U.S. Air Force Installation Contracting Center (AFICC), Contractor Logistic Support (CLS) of the U.S. Air Force C-12 fleet, and Contractor Operated and Maintained Base Supply (COMBS) for the Air Education and Training Command’s fleet of T-1A trainer aircraft.

Hill, a native of Midwest City, Oklahoma, brings over 32 years of military and private sector experience to the Vertex team. He is a well-known and respected expert in Air Force aerospace and defense maintenance market requirements, and business strategies as well as performance-based logistics. His experience brings a unique perspective in strategy development making him a valued asset to Vertex Aerospace.

During his Air Force career, Hill served in numerous assignments in the aircraft maintenance and logistics career fields at the squadron, group, Aerospace Expeditionary Task Force, Major Command, United Nations Force Headquarters, and Headquarters United States Air Force levels. He commanded a maintenance group, two aircraft maintenance squadrons, a logistics support squadron, and has experience on multiple weapon systems.
